Plan of the mainnet launching

Hi,

I’m here for some questions.

  1. Does the ‘MAP relay chain launch’ on roadmap Q2 means launching the mainnet?

or do you need to launch ‘Map cross-chain mainnet’ or else too?

Many users worried about changing the word of the road map.

  1. We can see there are only 4 miners in the explorer. I think it’s really an insecure environment.

‘MAP relay chain launch’ on roadmap Q2 can change the system?

We know the project’s goal but words in the roadmap and communication channel are too ambiguous.

Please be clear about the plan of the mainnet launching to the users.

Thanks for reading.

imo, Q2 is current expect-time,the map relay chain Is complex.
test network is not important as 4 nodes.

MAP’s mainnet is redefined as MAP Relay Chain. For more detailed information, please refer to the latest Litebook on our website.

MAP Protocol is the ultimate cross-chain solution with five key features: application ready, all chain-coverage, cost-efficient, security finality and instant confirmation. MAP Protocol has a three-layer structure: Protocol Layer, Cross-chain Services Layer (MCS), and Application Layer. MAP Relay Chain plays an important role to connect other chains proactively, thus forming a cross-chain network.

MAP Relay Chain is fully compatible with EVM and built upon Proof-of-Stake (PoS) mechanism and BFT consensus. MAP Relay Chain is designed for Dapp developers. It simplifies complex engineering and minimizes gas charges for cross-chain verification between heterogeneous chains.

Based on our Roadmap, MAP Relay Chain and the Validator Program will be launched in Q2. Detailed Roadmap for Q2 2022 is listed below:

  • Launch MAP Relay Chain, support more signature, hash, mining, and Merkel proof calculation as precompiled contracts.
  • Launch the explorer and PoS dApp.
  • Provide SDK to interact with MAP Relay Chain.
  • Provide MCS SDK test version.

MAP team is focusing on completing the connections with active EVM-compatible and heterogeneous chains in the market and will support the new up-rising blockchains from time to time.
